AFP Crecer with the aim of providing added value to its senior public and, above all, for its pensioners in the self-development of skills at home, also focuses content aimed at making the most of technology and making the best use of digital tools.

"Crecer siempre activo" is a platform of CRECER, created in 2020, with the initiative to accompany the pensioner during the quarantine, but remained to strengthen the needs that came with the new normality.

Among the sections of the program highlights the one called "Estar Bien en Casa", which in addition to offering entertainment content, dance classes, yoga, aerobics, medical talks, health tips, cooking recipes, virtual tours; makes available a portal that has a high content aimed at strengthening the digital skills of users.

Through a series of tutorials, they seek to close the digital gap among older adults who are often limited to technology by ignorance and provide technological empowerment through content of interest that became a necessity for everyone.

"We are evolving with our affiliates, expanding their knowledge, according to their tastes and needs in this digital era, and we will be increasingly strengthening with more components, according to the demand of this transformation of society", emphasized Augusto Morales, Commercial and Marketing director.

The platform offers a series of tutorials, in which people can learn how to use social networks, pay utilities online, online self-management and online shopping; also, how to download an application from their cell phone, how to prepare a virtual family meeting, how to meet through Teams, Facebook, among other topics.

Ingrid Rodas, Client and Brand Manager, indicated that they have perceived the need to make digital content available to their pensioners, which generates empowerment in the subject; some of them have even been helped in their personal ventures. "Being a vulnerable group, they have been restricted from going out and socializing, we saw an opportunity to turn them into digital citizens.

Therefore, this year we have expanded the digital content grid in tutorial formats, in order to strengthen their skills and help them learn to use their technological tools from our platform", he said.

In this effort and approach, Crecer is accompanied by the knowledge and training of its shareholder AFP Protección and SURA, who have extensive capacity and programs designed especially for seniors.
