25 families from the department of San Vicente received property deeds from the Minister of Housing, Michelle Sol, with an investment of US$11,250, which included diagnostic services, topographic measurements, preparation and approval of plans, deeds and registration at the Centro Nacional de Registros (CNR).

The families benefited belong to Lotificación Las Margaritas and Nueva Esperanza, in the municipality of San Vicente; Villa España II Santísima Trinidad and Vista al volcán in the municipality of Guadalupe.

"82% of the deeds that we deliver today are registered in favor of women, from the Housing System we are happy to empower and guarantee a right that brings a family benefit", said the minister, Michelle Sol.

"Today is a special day, full of blessing, thank you for changing our lives. Now we are secure owners and our children can inherit an asset. Thank you for caring about us", said Alma Samayoa, a resident of the project.

Two mayors of San Vicente, José Roberto Barrientos and José Renderos of Guadalupe, were present at the handing over of the deeds.

"Now they have legal certainty, a dignified inheritance to share with their children. Thanks to God for this blessing and to minister Michelle Sol, today they can rest because they have a land of their own", José Renderos, mayor of the municipality of Guadalupe.

"We will continue working so that each family can obtain their property deeds", said Helen Jovel, alternate deputy of the department of San Vicente.
