How to earn and redeem "Elite Points"?

LifeMiles members earn "Elite Points" by achieving Elite status and meeting the qualifying mileage requirements established between levels, as shown in the following chart:

"Elite Points" will be automatically accumulated in the LifeMiles account of each member who will be able to redeem them in LifeMiles.com for: admission to "Avianca Lounges", cabin upgrade and/or preferential seat selection from 15 "Elite Points*". The program also allows members to combine Elite Points with cash when redeeming Elite Points. Angulo further explained that "each member will be able to obtain or track the points redeemed or explore options to redeem on LifeMiles.com".
