The National Baseball League is an effort executed by a group of professionals interested in providing healthy recreation to the population and support to young salvadorans so they can develop integrally, as well as contribute to the preparation of the national team that will represent our country in the Central American and Caribbean Games San Salvador 2023.

This economic support was possible thanks to the transformation of BANDESAL, which, backed by the Central Government, has become a dynamic and innovative development bank, which not only allows to reactivate the national economy, but also to support art, culture, sports, education and health, making it possible for private sports organizations to benefit from this banking institution.

The President of BANDESAL, reiterates the commitment of this institution to continue providing financial support to strengthen the skills and talent of salvadoran athletes.

"The Government of President Nayib Bukele is committed to support and recognize sport as a fundamental branch in the development of the salvadoran youth. From BANDESAL, we will continue to support the different federations, through INDES, who put the name of El Salvador on high, said Durán who explained that, to provide financial support, a previous study required by INDES must be done on the needs to be covered by the applicant federation.

The ad honorem president of INDES Yamil Bukele, thanked the support provided by BANDESAL, a financial entity that has already benefited several national sports federations.

"In BANDESAL we have not only an ally, but a partner, a friend of sport. Thanks to its president, Juan Pablo Durán, for believing in and betting on the sport of our country", Bukele said.

In january 2022, thanks to the cooperation agreement signed between INDES and BANDESAL, the bank provided 145 thousand dollars for the purchase of three pick-up trucks that were provided to the badminton, skating and gymnastics federations, as well as for the purchase of two minibuses that were delivered to basketball and karate do. And a year earlier, in the first joint act between INDES and BANDESAL, six pick-up trucks (each valued at US$25 thousand, for a total of US$150 thousand dollars) were delivered to the athletics, baseball, surfing, mountaineering, weightlifting and triathlon federations.
