Since the beginning of the Central Government, to date, more than 6,300 salvadorans have benefited from this plan and have traveled to different countries to work.
The salvadoran labor force has gained prestige in different countries where companies prefer to hire salvadorans for their good work performance; in fact, some groups exceed in time the goals established by the employers.
This is the second contingent of salvadorans leaving for Canada with work visas for two years.
As an example of the welfare that salvadorans will have when traveling to Canada is that they have more liquidity with what they earn there, than what a minister in El Salvador can have with a salary.
The first group of compatriots left in july 2021 to work in canadian companies in the agricultural sector, also for a period of two years.
Castro also announced new work destinations for the compatriots thanks to the steps he is taking in Spain and Italy, with whom negotiations are being fine-tuned so that more compatriots can travel.
The Central Government continues to support more salvadorans to travel safely and legally to work in other countries.
In june of last year, another contingent joined other groups of salvadorans who traveled to the United States and Alaska to provide their services.
