Farmers receive US$500 insurance in case of losses

The Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock and the World Food Program (WFP), gave more than 4,300 small farmers in the country an insurance policy, which will be effective in case weather problems affect their crops.

Each policy is for US$500, an amount that will allow producers to restart their businesses in the event of crop losses due to the aforementioned weather conditions, through the Ministerio de Agricultura y Ganadería (MAG) and the World Food Program (WFP), a strategic ally of this administration.
