In the framework of the Covid-19 health alert in 2020 and which is still present, Walmart de México y Centroamérica donated in El Salvador, through World Vision, Dupont one-piece protective suits, Nitrile gloves, masks, goggles and face shields for front-line health personnel to operate in public hospitals.

The delivery was made to the Ministry of Health as the governing body in the area of health at the national level. Also, through this alliance, humanitarian food aid consisting of 100 hygiene and food kits were delivered to 100 families from vulnerable communities in the municipality of Soyapango, to protect health and promote a better quality of life among the neediest population.

"Our partner Walmart has been key in many projects where we have been able to impact the lives of the most vulnerable. On this occasion, we meet again through this important donation, which will support more families to prevent Covid-19 infection, minimizing the number of cases affected by this pandemic that has marked the lives of thousands of salvadorans. For us this donation is more than a mask, it is a way to protect the lives of the present and future generation", commented Laura del Valle, national director of World Vision El Salvador.
