Programa Oportunidades will incorporate 4,700 workers in different companies in the country

The Minister of Labor, Rolando Castro, informed that 1,524 companies are ready to incorporate the first 4,700 workers under the Programa Oportunidades, which will support young people and adults.

The program will subsidize with US$200 monthly to the companies for a period of 3 months and the rest of the money the employer company will have to put the rest of the money to complete the minimum wage or more.

"We are very happy because we will bring solution to families that today do not have work, a subsidy program for employment, unprecedented in El Salvador", said the minister of Labor, Rolando Castro.

Registration for the Programa Oportunidades

If people meet all the requirements and are interested in applying, the Ministry of Labor invites them to present themselves with their updated resume and personal identification documents at the Ministry's facilities from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

For registration and updating of data people must complete the following profile, academic level indistinct, men and women can apply, from 18 to 21 years old without work experience, people over 40 years old can also apply without having worked during the last 18 months, they must carry personal identification documents.

In addition, people with or without disabilities can apply, they must submit an updated resume and comply with biosecurity measures, wearing a mask.
