McDonald's receives "National Decent Work Award"

McDonald's El Salvador was awarded with the "National Award for Decent Work", recognition promoted by the Ministry of Labor and awarded to companies that ensure the welfare of their workers, providing them with the best conditions for their work performance.

Last wednesday, november 23, McDonald's received the award that represents a symbol of prestige for the brand, being certified as a company that guarantees the welfare of workers, as well as adequate working conditions and employment, which facilitates increased productivity, salary and promotes workers agreements.

The criteria considered by the Ministry of Labor for this recognition include: Basic pillars of the International Labour Organization, working conditions, occupational safety and health, and social protection. In addition to including pillars of the International Labor Organization (ILO), including compliance with the minimum age for work and hiring a person with a disability for every twenty employees.

This award we received, fills us with great pride, as it confirms that we are a good employer nationwide", said Gloria Ramirez, Human Capital Manager of McDonald's El Salvador.

With this, it confirms its commitment to train talent in its initial stage, promote the growth and development of staff through various programs for the benefit of its employees.
