PriceSmart, Inc. is betting on expansion and investment in the department of Santa Ana, to open a new Club, as it is a city driven by its economic dynamism and industrial growth.

With an investment of between US$20 and US$23 million dollars in infrastructure, they plan to inaugurate the PriceSmart Club in Santa Ana, said Ricardo Osorio, Operations manager for PriceSmart Clubs in Honduras and El Salvador.

The Ministerio de Hacienda and the Dirección General de Aduanas inaugurated the new and modern facilities of the Land Customs Anguiatú, in Santa Ana, which will streamline customs processes, foreign trade and migration flow with countries in the region.

The Defensoría del Consumidor, Ricardo Salazar, along with his team, went to the department of Santa Ana, to carry out an inspection of egg prices and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG). In addition, they verify the supply of the product.

The Ministerio de Agricultura y Ganadería (MAG), through the Dirección General de Economía Agropecuaria, accompanied the inspections of the Defensoría del Consumidor in the surroundings of Mercado Colón, in the city of Santa Ana.

The joint work between the Ministry of Tourism, the World Food Program (WFP) and strategic alliances with the Universidad Francisco Gavidia (UFG), restaurants and hotels, will allow youth to have access to professional training for free. 

More than 200 women, including businesswomen and entrepreneurs, are expected to benefit from the VIII Congreso Mujeres sin Límites, to be held by the Cámara de Comercio e Industria de El Salvador (Camarasal) Santa Ana branch.

The investment of the works was 120 thousand dollars, benefiting the municipalities of Santa Ana, Coatepeque, Masahuat, Santa Rosa Guachipilín, Texistepeque and Metapán.
