Housing benefits 52 families with the delivery of property deeds

The minister of Housing, Michelle Sol, informed that she delivered property deeds to 52 families of the communities that make up Finca La Bretaña, in San Martin.

According to Housing minister Michelle Sol, the contribution program has benefited more than 3,000 families with an investment of US$140,000; funds destined for construction and home improvements, as well as family resettlement.

"Our commitment first is to help high-risk families, those who were on the verge of death with one more winter...today is the day of legal equality for salvadoran women, today we want to empower women with their public deeds for which they have fought so hard", emphasizes the minister of Housing Michelle Sol.

In addition, the minister of Housing added "this is the true independence that the Central Government wants to give to many families in this month of september, in which we commemorate the bicentennial of independence".

"I did not expect it, I feel happy, it is a great work that minister Michelle Sol and President Nayib Bukele are doing, we have hope that we will live better and that we will leave my two children a place of their own", expressed one of the beneficiaries Haydee Arucha de Aguilar.

According to the Ministry, the technicians have accompanied the families in the search for housing that has basic services and is not in a risk zone.

Minister Michelle Sol assured that "the purpose of this delivery is to guarantee that salvadoran families obtain an adequate, integral and permanent housing solution, a safe place for their children".
