A contingent of 300 salvadorans will be sent in july to work in Canada

The Minister of Labor, Rolando Castro announced in a press conference that by july a contingent of 250 to 300 salvadorans will be sent to work in Canada.

According to the official, to date 44 contingents have been sent to the United States and emphasized that they are now focused on gathering the necessary data to qualify the people they will send to work in Canada.

He said this during the day that the institution is holding for applicants who wish to travel to that country. The event is being held from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. today at the facilities of the Ministry of Labor.

He said that the 14 departmental offices are already available to serve all applicants who wish to travel to work in Canada and who have the ability to cut meat and knowledge of basic english.

According to the statistics of the Ministry of Labor at this time of the morning, 500 people have arrived nationwide.

The official clarified that people who do not meet the required skills in this day, will be taken into account in future recruitment processes of the Labor Migration Program.

He emphasized that during his tour in Europe he was able to sign agreements with Italy and soon we will sign with Spain.
