For those who purchase a 35-pound propane gas presentation the cost to the consumer is US$15.50 and with targeted subsidy it is US$7.46.

The 20 pound gas cylinder will cost US$8.98 and with the benefit granted by the Central Government it is US$0.94.

For those who use propane gas in smaller quantities, the 10-pound gas cylinder costs US$4.61.

Salvadorans should keep in mind the good and correct use of gas cylinders.

Check for leaks: People should verify that during access to gas and the gas tap is properly controlled. It is recommended to do it every time you cook in the morning, afternoon and evening.

Control the temperature level: This is an aspect that should be regulated. "You have to use containers of the same size as the burners. You are not going to put a small pot on a large burner, you must know how to dose to put less gas".
