This regulation will serve as an act of justice so that there is equality among contributors and so they can retire with dignity.

Likewise, the minister of Labor, Rolando Castro explained that there are 684 people with Very Important Person (VIP) pensions and said that there are pensions of US$6,300 dollars, and he detailed that there is an elite in excellent conditions. More than US$365 million were used to benefit this small part of the population.

He said that they have analyzed the international context regarding pensions and it has been decided that the AFP's will continue to manage the workers' funds, but under the strict supervision of the Instituto Salvadoreño de Pensiones.

In addition, Castro affirmed that, for a long time, the Diaspora was denied its rights, that is why access to the pension system in El Salvador is also open to them, as well as to independent workers.

He said that the law to regulate private security companies is still under discussion in the Legislative Assembly, but I am not standing idle, the Ministry of Labor continues to carry out inspections to these companies to ensure that the rights of workers are respected.
