CEL opens five new soccer schools in the eastern part of the country

The Comisión Ejecutiva Hidroeléctrica del Río Lempa (CEL), inaugurated five Soccer Schools in the east of the country, two will operate in the municipality of Nueva Granada in the department of Usulután and three in the municipality of Sesori, department of San Miguel.

The Soccer Schools will benefit boys, girls and adolescents between 6 and 14 years of age. A total of 250 future athletes will receive technical assistance from certified coaches.

CEL, through its Social Responsibility Unit, provided them with uniforms and sports equipment such as balls, training ladders, cones, goal nets, stopwatches, hurdles, among others.

"We are committed to the children and youth of our country; that is why we are inaugurating this type of projects, allowing our future generations to have a healthy coexistence, exercise and have a full development", said Alexander Zamora, CEL's Head of Social Responsibility.

In this project, CEL has allocated a small investment of US$7,500 dollars, efforts in which we have had the support of the mayors of both localities.

At the national level, we support the opening and continuity of ten Soccer Schools that operate in the municipalities near our five hydroelectric plants and in areas of interest such as Bajo Lempa.
