With the objective of promoting environmentally sustainable growth in the region, the Central American Bank for Economic Integration (CABEI), the Government of Germany, through KfW, and the European Union (EU), through the Green MSMEs II Initiative, launched the Regional Sustainable Mobility Competition, aimed at Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Central America with investments that contribute to the reduction of greenhouse gases.

CONAMYPE shared advances in MSMEs

The President of CONAMYPE, Paul Steiner was part of the conference "Expanding International Market Opportunities for MSMEs", was held the discussion of the final draft of the Inter-American dialogue, an event that brings together the highest authorities on micro, small and medium enterprises.

172 MSMEs led by women in Guatemala, Honduras and El Salvador were analyzed by the Centro Regional de Promoción de la mipyme (Cenpromype), within the framework of the Program "Economic Empowerment of Women in the Northern Triangle", which is an initiative of the Organization of American States (OAS), with funding from the U.S. Department of State and META.

The Comisión Nacional de la Micro y Pequeña Empresa (CONAMYPE), together with the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA), the Ministry of Tourism, the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), the Cooperation Agency of El Salvador (ESCO) held the closing of the diploma course: "Empowering Your Business With Artificial Intelligence", with the purpose of training medium and small enterprises (MYPES) through digital strategies to enhance their businesses.

With the objective of improving business services and strengthening the technical capacities of MSMEs, the Asociación Agencia de Desarrollo Económico Local del Departamento de la Unión, ADEL La Unión, and the Central American Bank for Economic Integration (CABEI) through the DINAMICA II Initiative, with the support of the European Union and the Government of Germany, through the KfW development bank, signed two non-refundable technical assistance agreements for a total amount of US$194,900.
