Authorities from different Central American countries have launched the Regional Master Plan for Mobility and Logistics with which they hope to lower the cost of transporting goods in the region, through the improvement of land, air and sea connections.

The minister of Foreign Affairs, Alexandra Hill, received the head of the Secretaría de Integración Económica Centroamericana (SIECA),  Francisco Lima, who presented to the diplomat the Regional Master Plan for Mobility and Logistics 2035.

As a result of six virtual business rounds, 3,248 companies from Latin America and the Caribbean were able to establish appointments and their respective business intentions for US$148 million, since the first of these meetings in 2020.
