Price of the basic urban basket as of january 2023 increased US$31.59 and the rural basket US$30.13

The director of the Centro para la Defensa del Consumidor (CDC), Danilo Perez, explained that in january 2021 the basic food basket in the urban sector cost US$199.24, in january 2022 it cost US$213.43 and by january 2023 it increased to US$245.02, and the last price of the urban one has just been updated to US$249.70.
