The Central Government has in effect the august 2023 Vacation Plan, so that salvadorans can enjoy the festivities in honor of the Divine Savior of the World with the best attention from state institutions.

During the summer, cyber-attacks increase by around 30%, taking advantage of the relaxation of security measures and the increase in online activity. Cybercriminals use various methods, such as phishing and identity theft, focusing especially on scams related to tourist accommodations.

The Dirección General de Energía, Hidrocarburos Minas (DGEHM), informs salvadorans that fuel prices will increase up to US$0.03 for super gasoline and diesel, while regular gasoline will decrease US$0.03 per gallon. The reference prices will be in effect as of tuesday, june 27, 2023.

According to the Consumer Price Index of the Oficina Nacional de Estadísticas y Censos (ONEC) the overall value was 128.97 with a monthly variation of -0.09%, annual variation of 5.44%, and accumulated variation of 0.94% for the month of april 2023.

The Oficina Nacional de Estadísticas y Censos (ONEC), of the Banco Central de Reserva (BCR), explains in its bulletin that the Índice de Precios al Productor (IPP) that in march this year was 130.01 with a monthly variation of 0.25%, reflecting an increase in prices compared to february 2023.
