Jorge Hasbún is re-elected as president of Camarasal

The Cámara de Comercio e Industria de El Salvador (Camarasal) held its General Assembly of members for 2023, in which businessman Jorge Hasbún was reelected as president of the Board of Directors that will lead the association for the period 2023 - 2024.

During the session, Hasbún highlighted the work of the businessmen to get back on track after two complicated and challenging years. In addition, in his speech, he thanked Camarasal's volunteers for their selfless contribution, who ensure that Camarasal continues to be the largest business association in the country.

After the presentation of the president's report and external audit, the assembly voted for the proposed slate, electing the new Board of Directors of the guild, which was formed as follows:

During this session, 75 new members were sworn in, who joined the association this year. In addition, the loyalty of 68 companies that have been members of Camarasal for between 25 and 85 years was recognized.

The Cámara de Comercio e Industria de El Salvador is the most representative business association in El Salvador, with more than 107 years of promoting and permanently defending the free enterprise system, promoting national unity and business development with social responsibility.
