SSF invites investors to learn in workshops to be held during World Investor Week

The superintendent of the Financial System, informed that yesterday was inaugurated the World Investor Week in which different virtual workshops will be held from October 4 to 9, providing essential tips and tools for investors.

The "World Investor Week" (WIW) is a campaign promoted by the International Organization of Securities Commissions (IOSCO), an international organization known as the world regulator of the securities sector, whose mandate is financial education and the protection of retail investors.

Now the Superintendency joins this campaign and indicated through its twitter account, that, if people are interested in investing, but do not know their investment profile, they can take into account the following advice:

  • Perform an analysis of your monthly income.
  • Define your economic stability.
  • Take into account your age, your assets and your savings expectations

"Through activities like this we want to emphasize our firm commitment to democratize the securities market, always seeking to continue promoting financial inclusion in El Salvador, through this campaign", said Superintendent Mario Menéndez.
