SSF indicates that during 2021 it reached an authorized amount of US$462.10 million in securitizations

The Superintendencia del Sistema Financiero (SSF), informs through its twitter account that 2021 was the year with the highest amount authorized in securitizations, reaching US$462.10 million, reflecting greater financing opportunities for entities and better returns for those for investors through the securities market.

The amounts authorized in securitizations for 2019 were US$133.90 million, for 2020 US$221.80 and for 2021 US$462.10.

During 2021 the Superintendency eliminated fees for the registration of securities issuances, being one of the measures that favored issuers and investors with a greater supply and demand of securities in the market.

Regarding the banking system at the end of 2021, the amount of savings accounts, reflected a growth of US$473.3 million, compared to the same period of 2020; showing the solidity of the sector.

For the evolution of savings accounts in 2020, they were US$5,033.8 million in 2021 reached US$5,507.1 million with a year-on-year growth of US$473.3 million.

The dynamism of the country's economy is reflected in the inter-annual increase of loans, which as of december 2021 reached US$15,828.0 million, with a growth of US$1,038.5 million compared to the same period in 2020.
