The Organismo Promotor de Inversiones y Exportaciones (PROESA) accompanies all investment projects so that developers find what they need and do not face unnecessary costs.
To date, PROESA counts that salvadorans residing outside the territory have invested US$577 million distributed in 198 projects, located in different points.
"SALEX investments are decentralizing the economy: projects reach all parts of the national territory, thanks to the security policies promoted by our government. The fear of extortion and other crimes has disappeared", said the head of PROESA, Salvador Gómez. From Santa Ana to La Unión, these initiatives of the compatriots have generated no less than 32,000 jobs, both direct and indirect. At the same time they activate other industries, such as construction and energy.
"Everything has changed and Salvadorans abroad are very grateful to the work of President Bukele. He has created an optimal environment for us, with all the opportunities to return and invest and generate jobs in our country", said Noé Torres, a salvadoran who has lived in Los Angeles, California for 35 years.
He is focused on tourism projects. Two of the departments where more projects are in execution are La Libertad, with 30 underway.
In La Union there are 27 projects. "Our mission is to heed the call and support, as mandated by the Central Government to extend a hand to investors, national and foreign, who wish to join the transformation of the country", reiterated the president of PROESA.
