The Comisión Nacional de la Micro y Pequeña Empresa (CONAMYPE), informed that 20 Micro and Small Enterprises, from different areas participated in the meeting Supply and Demand 2022, developed by the institution and the Single Public Adquisiciones y Contrataciones de la Administración Pública (LACAP).

The event was held in compliance with Article 39 of the LACAP, which establishes that public administration entities must acquire and contract at least 25% of the annual budget for goods and services from national MSEs.

The technician in the area of Formalization and Protection of MSEs of CONAMYPE, Claudia Paredes, said that this is an event that aims to bring MSEs and Public Administration institutions closer together.

The objective of this type of business roundtables is that MSEs can present their products and services to the State purchasing units, so that they can be considered in the corresponding tenders. Likewise, at the event, MSEs are informed of the business opportunities they have in the public procurement market, in order to provide them with the necessary inputs to prepare them to bid in this important area.

This meeting is framed within an innovative concept, as it is a space for public-private procurement areas to expand their supplier base, as well as providing an opportunity for MSEs to present their goods and services to UACIs, and companies seeking new suppliers.
