The Comisión Nacional de la Micro y Pequeña Empresa (CONAMYPE), together with the Fondo Especial de los Recursos provenientes de la Privatización de ANTEL (FANTEL), delivered US$114,000 for the improvement of processes in different micro and small enterprises (MYPE).

This type of fund seeks to increase the productive capacities of MSEs, through access to non-reimbursable financial resources that will allow them to acquire machinery or equipment that will allow them to improve their processes.

"This is working capital, these are companies that are already formed, they are already operating and we are helping them to grow, in another case we have new ventures where we are giving them seed capital to start their business, but in this case it is working capital to raise and grow their business", said Paul Steiner, president of CONAMYPE.

With the delivery of these non-refundable financial resources, the entrepreneurs will be able to acquire equipment and machinery that will allow them to increase their productive capacity.
