Blood pressure and ECG measurement functions now available on your Galaxy Watch4

Blood pressure and ECG measurement features are now available in Panama, Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador, Ecuador and Dominican Republic on the Galaxy Watch4.

With a reduced and more compact design, the Galaxy Watch4 is a smartwatch that is equipped with Samsung's BioActive sensor, which uses a single chip to accurately operate three powerful health sensors: electrocardiogram (ECG), blood pressure and the exclusive Bioimpedance body composition analysis function.

With this information, users can monitor their blood pressure, detect an irregular heartbeat, measure the level of blood oxygenation4 and calculate their own body composition5.

Thanks to Samsung's innovative BioActive sensor6, the Galaxy Watch4 is the first smartwatch on the market to perform bioelectrical impedance body composition analysis, which provides detailed data about the wearer's body. And now these features are available in our markets.

Health monitoring at your fingertips

By placing two fingers next to the Watch4, after 15 seconds this measurement scans 2,400 points across the entire body, including skeletal muscle mass, basal metabolic rate, body water and body fat percentage. This feature provides an enhanced understanding of one's health and fitness.

The Galaxy Watch4 also offers an interesting and detailed sleep monitoring system, which, in conjunction with your smartphone, detects snoring sounds and measures the level of blood oxygenation during sleep. This allows you to classify the user's sleep quality with wellness, to learn patterns and get a better rest.

Renewed operational system

The Galaxy Watch4 line is also the first generation of smartwatches to use the Wear OS Powered by Samsung system. This platform, built by Samsung and Google, takes the smartwatch experience to a new level, allowing the user to take greater advantage of Google apps, and Google Maps, in addition to Galaxy ecosystem services, such as Samsung Pay7, SmartThings and Bixby8.

Likewise, the Watch4 line is more integrated with the Galaxy platform thanks to Samsung's new One UI Watch and Wear operating system.

Design and durability

Simple in design, the Watch4 features an Armor Aluminun ring, a stronger metal alloy, which offers more durability and strength. It also has different bracelet options, allowing the same Galaxy Watch4 to match several different pieces of clothing, looks, and styles.

Long battery life

With so many features and functions, a powerful and reliable battery is necessary to keep the smartwatch running for long periods. Samsung knows that and provided the Galaxy Watch4 line with up to 40 hours9 of battery life. That's more than enough for a full day of use and, in a pinch, 30 minutes of charging will give up to 10 hours of battery life.
