The transformative power of data: how it is changing the insurance world

CB Insights has released its list of the 50 most promising insurtechs from around the world. Among them is FRISS. "I am delighted to see us on this list. It clearly indicates that our pursuit of honest insurance, which is our reason for being, is being noticed", says Jeroen Morrenhof, CEO and co-founder of the firm.

The companies in this listing have raised more than $11 billion from approximately 400 disclosed investors, through 215 equity deals, since 2017. In 2021, companies in this cohort raised more than $5.5 billion in 55 deals.

"The companies in our inaugural Insurtech 50 have built and leveraged new technologies to improve all aspects of the insurance value chain, from customer acquisition to underwriting and claims for a variety of different insurance products", said Brian Lee, SVP of CB Insights' Intelligence Unit.
