Ministry of Labor launches calls for permanent jobs for salvadorans

The Ministerio de Trabajo y Previsión Social launched an electronic call for applications, through which it has made available a form with questions about personal data, studies, work, skills and abilities of the applicants.

In addition to filling out the form on the website, applicants are requested to attach their resumes, in order to find a job opportunity for them according to their skills, academic preparation and work experience.

"We have more job offers throughout the national territory. If you want to start the new year with a job, apply to the vacancies available throughout the country. Fill out the following form with your data and remember to attach your resume. https://forms.gle/fuKuzC3kY1GpaiLN6", notified the institution, which added that the last date to apply is january 2, 2023.

In this way, the Ministerio de Trabajo continues to mediate between unemployed people or those who want to change jobs with private companies from different productive sectors that have decent jobs and fair wages.

The Central Government implemented the Programa Oportunidades, among others, with the objective of providing decent and dignified jobs to people over 40 years of age and to young people between 18 and 21 years of age without experience.

In addition, as part of the Labor Insertion Program, hundreds of men and women with disabilities were placed in positions created by the different productive sectors. Thousands of single mothers were also placed in the labor market.

Thanks to the intermediation with private companies, 15,000 formal jobs were created in 2023, which do not include the temporary jobs hired in november and december, nor the salvadorans sent to work in the United States and Canada, as part of the Migration Program.
