The recent masterclass “Boost your business with data analysis and Electronic Invoicing” brought together the staff of the Electronic Invoicing Division of the Ministry of Finance and the Directorate of Innovation and Competitiveness of the Ministry of Economy. Organized by the Universidad Católica de El Salvador at its headquarters in Santa Ana, this training was aimed at strengthening the entrepreneurs of the Center for the Centro de Desarrollo de Micro y Pequeñas Empresas (CDMYPE) in the western region of the country.
The main focus of the training was to enhance the growth of micro and small enterprises (MSEs) through digital transformation. Participants learned about the importance of e-invoicing and how this tool can improve business management, facilitate tax compliance, and increase operational efficiency.
One of the highlights of the masterclass was the presentation of the Digital Route tool. Through this platform, entrepreneurs were able to understand how to implement technological strategies that optimize their invoicing processes and data analysis, which in turn would contribute to better decision making.
These initiatives seek not only to boost the competitiveness of MSEs, but also to foster a more robust economic environment in the region. The formalization of companies, supported by the reforms to the Tax Code, promises to improve the cost-benefit ratio and open up new growth opportunities for local entrepreneurs.
