Crecer, a leader in savings and investment, reaffirms its commitment to the well-being of its members over 55 years of age and the population in general through social impact programs that improve the quality of life and promote integral development. January, dedicated in the country to people over 60 years of age, is an opportunity to pay tribute to this valuable population and recognize their contributions to society.
“In this month, in which special recognition is given to the elderly, we want to share all the activities with which we are close to them, from the delivery of their pension on time, services, to the activities we carry out in our pensioners’ club, which allow them to develop, enjoy and connect with other people with related interests”, said Ingrid Rodas, Crecer’s Client and Brand Manager.
The Club de Pensionados Crecer has been a key initiative for the physical, emotional and social well-being of more than 50,000 pensioners. During 2024, the Club’s virtual platform registered 37,066 visits, demonstrating the interest and participation of its members.
“At Crecer we understand the needs of our pensioner clients, which is why we developed the Conectados course in collaboration with professors from the School of Communication Sciences at the Universidad Dr. José Matías Delgado. The course has 5 modules that address practical topics for participants to access essential digital services and take advantage of these resources in a safe and efficient way. By the end of 2024, more than 3,000 people had accessed this course”, explained Ingrid Rodas, Crecer’s client and Brand Manager.
Actions that have an impact on building the future
Although many Crecer initiatives are focused on pensioners over 55 years of age, the company has also developed social impact actions for other segments of the population. Among these, the Talent Up Summit and Work Tech Summit events, organized during 2024 as part of Crecer’s benefits and service offerings to support young people in their professional development and improve their job opportunities, stand out. These events offered advice from recruiters, workshops to improve job profiles and talks on the future of work, and more than 600 people attended.
“At Crecer, we want our members to prepare for the future by acquiring knowledge about the latest labor and technological trends. We are proud to be an enabling company that supports our clients not only with financial solutions, but also with opportunities to stay updated in the world of work”, said Ingrid Rodas.
Innovation at the service of members
In 2024, Crecer also continued to innovate in its digital services, with the goal of making them more accessible and easier to use.
One example of technological innovation is the facial biometrics system implemented in Crecer’s mobile application, which simplifies the survivorship verification process for pensioners, ensuring that they continue to receive their payments securely. Users simply register in the application, take a selfie and follow the instructions to complete the process.
With these initiatives, the company continues working to improve the welfare of its members and contribute to the development of the country, and reaffirms its commitment to generate a positive impact on the lives of Salvadorans, offering innovative solutions adapted to every need.
