Walmart will hold the first edition of the “Walmart Central America Growth Summit 2025”, an event designed to connect Central American suppliers with the supermarket chain. The summit will be held on july 30 and 31 and seeks to promote the direct purchase of products manufactured, grown and assembled in the region.

The event will be open to companies of all sizes from Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua, and Costa Rica. Selected companies will have the opportunity to meet with Walmart buyers in 30-minute business appointments, which could mean their entry into the multinational’s supplier network.
Interested companies must register between april 1 and may 2 at www.rangeme.com/growthsummitcam. Requirements include having bar-coded products, complying with tax and sanitary regulations, and having legal representation for commercialization.

In addition to the negotiation rounds, the Growth Summit will include learning sessions focused on training and empowerment of participating companies. The event will be a hybrid format, allowing for both in-person and virtual participation.

Walmart seeks to strengthen local economies by giving visibility to Central American products in its physical stores and digital platforms. In this way, the selected companies will be able to access millions of customers in the region.
This initiative reaffirms Walmart’s commitment to the development of Central American suppliers, providing a unique opportunity for emerging and established businesses to expand their reach and growth. The event represents a strategic step in the commercial integration of the region, consolidating Walmart Central America as a key ally for entrepreneurs and businessmen in the region.
