This initiative reinforces AES’s commitment to building the future of energy today by educating children about the responsible and efficient use of electricity.

Today, AES El Salvador officially presented the digital adaptation of “Magic Energy,” its renowned educational program that, since 2007, has promoted the safe, responsible, and efficient use of electricity among salvadoran children.
The launch featured Tomás Corriente, the initiative’s main character, accompanied by his friends from the “Energía Mágica” universe, who performed a dynamic show that brought this new phase of the project to life.

The digital version, available at www.aes-energiamagica.com, brings together all the program’s content in an accessible format for children, teachers, and students interested in learning about the world of electric energy. Available resources include comics, full episodes of the characters’ adventures, interactive games, and recreational materials that teach how to save and safely use electricity.
“With this digital transformation, we seek to expand the reach of “Energía Mágica”so that more children, regardless of their location, can access educational content that inspires them to care for energy and the planet”, said Carlos Marroquín, Communications and Community manager at AES El Salvador.

“Energía Mágica”: 18 years educating children about energy
Since its creation, “Energía Mágica” has visited more than 1,400 educational centers throughout El Salvador, delivering messages about energy efficiency, environmental stewardship, and safe energy use through tools such as a picture book, animated videos, and a puppet theater. Its interactive and recreational nature has allowed more than 700,000 children to learn about the wonderful world of energy in a fun, engaging, and participatory way.

With this digital adaptation, AES reinforces its commitment to education and sustainable development, aligning this initiative with its AES Education corporate social responsibility axis. The company seeks to ensure that new generations grow up with greater environmental awareness and a firm commitment to the responsible use of energy resources.
