Fulfilling their commitment to contribute to an increasingly sustainable future and aware that real change begins with small actions, Claro El Salvador volunteers, along with family and friends, joined forces to clean up the salvadoran coast.
On this third day of work, 2.5 kilometers of Amatecampo Beach, located in the department of La Paz, were cleaned. More than 1,300 pounds of trash was removed from the area, preventing much of this waste from reaching the ocean and affecting coastal and marine life.

This effort continues a tradition started by the company in previous years. Since 2023, Claro El Salvador, together with more than 100 volunteers, has cleaned nearly 8 kilometers of beach and removed more than 4,300 pounds of trash in Amatecampo.
These cumulative results over three consecutive days reflect not only the company’s sustained commitment to the environment, but also the positive impact of the unity and volunteer actions that contribute to conserving beaches and protecting the country’s coastal biodiversity.

As part of its comprehensive sustainability strategy, Claro El Salvador promotes initiatives that foster environmental stewardship, digital inclusion, and community development. Corporate volunteer programs, environmental footprint reduction, and technological innovation projects are part of this approach, which seeks to generate shared value and advance toward a cleaner, more responsible, and conscious future.

“We all want to enjoy clean and healthy beaches; but a clean coastline is more than just a beautiful landscape; it’s proof of the responsibility shared by all who visit it”, said Claudia Trejo, Head of Public Relations at Claro El Salvador. “Every pound of trash removed on this day is a step toward a healthier and more sustainable future for our beaches and for those who enjoy them; it’s another step toward achieving a better planet”, she said.
With initiatives like this, Claro El Salvador reaffirms that sustainability is not limited to rhetoric, but translates into concrete actions that connect its employees with the communities and the environment, moving step by step toward a cleaner and more conscious El Salvador.
