The Legislative Assembly approved with 58 votes the allocation of $680,756.15 to the Instituto Nacional de los Deportes (INDES) for the rehabilitation of the Complejo Ecuestre San Andrés, headquarters of the Federación Salvadoreña de Ecuestres (FESADES), located in San Juan Opico, La Libertad.

The project, part of the Programa de Construcción de Infraestructura y Rescate de Escenarios Deportivos (PRODEPORTE), includes improvements to stables, the competition track, restrooms, a multipurpose room, bleachers, sidewalks, signage, and electrical and hydraulic systems.
The funds come from the balance of a loan signed between the Executive Branch and the Central American Bank for Economic Integration (CABEI), previously approved in 2021. With this allocation, the government seeks to modernize sports venues and promote the practice of equestrian disciplines in the country.
