
From april 2 to 4, the Costa del Sol will host the El Salvador Beach Soccer Cup 2026, an international tournament that will bring together leading figures from the world of beach soccer. The event is organized by Beach Soccer Worldwide in coordination with the Instituto Nacional de los Deportes de El Salvador (INDES).
In the men’s competition, the main attraction will be the Brazilian team, the current world champions, who will face the hosts El Salvador, as well as Colombia and Denmark.
In the women’s competition, the Euro Beach Soccer League champions, Portugal, will compete against Brazil, Mexico, and El Salvador, who are also the current tournament champions.

The honorary president of INDES, Yamil Bukele, highlighted the importance of organizing the fourth edition of the competition and reaffirmed the country’s commitment to the development of beach soccer, both for men and women.
The president of Beach Soccer Worldwide, Joan Cusco, assured that the tournament will maintain high standards of quality and highlighted the passion of salvadoran fans for this discipline. He also expressed his gratitude to Yamil Bukele for his leadership and collaboration, highlighting his contribution to the success of joint projects and wishing him success in his new role as president of the Federación Salvadoreña de Fútbol.

This will be the fourth edition of the El Salvador Beach Soccer Cup, following those held in 2022, 2024, and 2025. In the previous edition, Portugal was crowned champion in the men’s tournament, while El Salvador won the title in the women’s category.
The tournament reaffirms El Salvador as an important venue for international beach soccer and consolidates its role as a host of high-level sporting events.
