The Ministry of Finance conducted a tax training for entrepreneurs of the municipality of San Vicente Sur, in order to deepen their knowledge on tax issues and promote a proper tax culture. More than 40 entrepreneurs, all VAT registered, participated in the event.
The training was conducted by the Ministry’s Taxpayer Advocacy and Tax Education Unit. Its main objective is to strengthen compliance with tax regulations and support business growth through the provision of adequate tools and knowledge.
The event was held at the Universidad Panamericana, and was attended by entrepreneurs from various sectors, such as food preparation, crops, coffee processing, beauty services, handicrafts and agriculture. The participants came from areas such as Apastepeque, San Cayetano, San Ildefonso and San Vicente, among others.
This type of training not only seeks to improve understanding of tax obligations, but also to contribute to local economic and business development. The training provides entrepreneurs with the necessary skills to manage their tax responsibilities efficiently.
The activity was part of the Citizen Attention Program of the Legislative Assembly of the department of San Vicente, highlighting the commitment of the institutions to support local entrepreneurs and promote regulatory compliance in the region.
