Representatives of the Asociación de Restaurantes de El Salvador, ARES, along with the authorities of the Ministry of Tourism and sponsoring companies, announced the eleventh edition of the ARES Awards for Gastronomic Excellence 2025, which will be held on monday, may 5, starting at 6PM, at the Hotel Real Intercontinental. The awards aim to stimulate the guild.

“In ARES we are very excited about the gala awards dinner, a unique event in which we share with the representatives of the guild and award in different categories to stimulate culinary creations, innovation and trajectory”, said Chef Leo Guzman, president of ARES.
The gala awards dinner menu will be prepared by international chef Vincent Boutinaud; the gastronomic experience will be accompanied by exquisite premium wines and spirits and many surprises for attendees.


“Gastronomy is an essential component of our cultural identity and a key driver for tourism in El Salvador. The ARES 2025 Awards are already a tradition to recognize chefs and restaurants that are working to improve quality in this area and thus continue to promote, through this work, the economic development of the country”, Morena Valdez, minister of Tourism.

It is worth mentioning that for the “ARES Awards for Gastronomic Excellence” in the categories of: National Chain, International Chain and Favorite Restaurant; the public votes through the online platform, entering from Facebook: Asociación de Restaurantes de El Salvador, ARES; the winner will be chosen by a majority of simple votes. The Chef of the Year, Entrepreneur of the Year and Innovation Award are chosen by a qualifying jury of ARES.
