The CIBELAE El Salvador 2024 Conference, organized by the Lotería Nacional de Beneficencia de El Salvador (LNB) and the Corporación Iberoamericana de Loterías y Apuestas de Estado (CIBELAE), concluded successfully after three days of activities in the salvadoran capital. The event, which took place from september 30 to october 2 at the Hotel Sheraton Presidente, gathered more than 100 leaders and experts of the state gaming and gambling industry of Iberoamerica to address critical topics such as technological innovation and prevention of money laundering.
El Salvador, with the LNB as host Lottery under the leadership of Javier Milián, president of the LNB and CIBELAE, was consolidated as a benchmark in the region in the implementation of innovative and transparent practices, highlighting a 476% growth in the Lotín product.
“We are proud to have hosted such a significant event and to continue to put El Salvador on high, we have received excellent feedback, where they highlight our country as a reliable and attractive destination. This demonstrates El Salvador’s leadership in the transformation of the lottery sector and reinforces our commitment to transparency and integrity”, said Milián during the closing event.
International experts such as Esmeralda Britton (Costa Rica), Lorna Huertás (Puerto Rico), Carlós Parrá (Chile) and Lucíola Aor Vasconcelos (Brazil) shared their experiences and technological solutions to improve security and efficiency in the sector, while leaders such as Gonzalo Torres of Scientific Games, which advises more than 150 State Lotteries globally, highlighted the achievements of El Salvador in the implementation of innovations and increased sales.
The CIBELAE El Salvador 2024 Conference not only promoted the exchange of knowledge, but also strengthened the relationships between key industry players. The event concluded with a clear commitment to international collaboration to address current and future challenges, including the fight against money laundering.
