Thanks to the direct intervention of this entity, important resources have been rescued that otherwise would have remained in the hands of defaulting companies.
With this effort, a significant recovery of funds has been achieved to benefit the affected workers.
The Minister of Labor, Rolando Castro, pointed out that, since the beginning of his administration, more than US$20 million in severance payments have been recovered. These funds have been delivered directly to the workers, ensuring that they receive what they are entitled to by law.
According to Castro, this figure represents a substantial advance in the enforcement of labor rights in the country. He also emphasized that they are doing labor justice and guaranteeing that each worker receives what is due to him or her.
