The Ministry of Labor and Social Security announced the launch of the “Prevención 360°” Occupational Accident Observatory, a public digital tool that seeks to strengthen prevention and ensure worker safety in El Salvador.
The observatory will allow the collection and real-time updating of data reported through the National Occupational Accident Notification System, which will facilitate the identification of risk factors in different work environments.

In addition, the platform will have a web portal that can be directly accessed via a QR code. This system will provide transparent and up-to-date statistical information, available to both the salvadoran population and international bodies interested in the subject.
The official launch took place at an event attended by the Occupational Health and Safety Committees of private and public companies, who are working with the government and employers to promote this initiative with a national vision.

With this tool, the Ministry of Labor marks the beginning of a new era in occupational health management, focusing on technological innovation and comprehensive prevention: “Because the health and lives of workers require comprehensive oversight”, the authorities stated.
