AES El Salvador, through AES CAESS, carried out major maintenance work on the electrical grid in Soyapango and Apopa, benefiting more than 15,000 customers in different neighborhoods of the municipality.

The neighborhoods served include Las Brisas, Santa María, Credisa, Las Margaritas, Brisas del Sur, Buena Vista, California, San Rafael, Bosques de la Paz, and Bosques de Prusia. These efforts are part of the company’s strategic actions to guarantee a safe, continuous, and high-quality electricity supply for salvadorans.

This measure not only improves service continuity but also contributes to community safety, especially during rainy and windy seasons.
In addition, insulation replacement, line repairs, pole replacement, and electrical circuit normalization were carried out, with the participation of more than 50 specialized employees.
“With these actions, we seek to reduce the risk of grid failures and prevent incidents that could leave users without power. Our commitment is to continue working to strengthen the country’s electrical infrastructure”, said René Nuñez, Construction and Maintenance supervisor at AES CAESS.
These efforts are part of the ongoing preventive maintenance plan that AES El Salvador implements throughout the country to ensure that homes and businesses have a continuous and reliable supply.
The company works to ensure that energy continues to flow, thereby promoting the economic and social development of the communities, businesses, and industries in two important districts in the country’s capital.
