A. M. The Directorate of Integration has reached a milestone by granting the first 500 loans of the ambitious Housing Flourishing and Access to Credit Project. This initiative seeks to transform the living conditions and economic outlook of hundreds of families in El Salvador.
These initial funds will directly benefit homeowners in all neighborhoods of the Soyapango district. The program will subsequently expand to include residents of other districts, broadening its positive impact across the country.
The project opens new financing opportunities through private banks, allowing beneficiary households to significantly improve their living conditions. This fosters a greater sense of belonging and community pride in areas that previously faced stigmatization.
Alejandro Gutman, honorary president of the Integration Directorate, expressed his enthusiasm for the realization of a dream project. He highlighted how access to private credit, previously limited, is now a tangible reality for these families.
Furthermore, the Autoridad Salvadoreña del Agua (ASA) has joined this worthy cause, distributing water filters to the 500 beneficiary families. This complementary action ensures access to quality water, integrally contributing to the well-being of these families.
