President Nayib Bukele begins an important visit to Argentina, where he will hold several key meetings to strengthen bilateral relations. According to the official agenda, he will be received by President Javier Milei, marking a milestone in Salvadoran diplomacy, since it is the first time that a president of El Salvador is invited to a state visit in this context.
The day will begin with a wreath-laying ceremony in honor of General San Martin, a symbol of independence and freedom in Latin America. Afterwards, Bukele will move to the Casa Rosada for his official meeting with Milei, where both leaders are expected to address issues of common interest and collaboration strategies.
During this meeting, the foreign ministers of both countries will sign several agreements in the presence of the presidents, a significant step towards deepening cooperation between El Salvador and Argentina. The event will take place in the emblematic Eva Perón hall, reflecting the relevance of the occasion.
This visit also marks Bukele’s first official trip in his second term, consolidating his role in regional politics. It is also the second time he has met with Milei, who was present at Bukele’s inauguration ceremony last june 1.
