This program has transformed the lives of thousands of salvadorans, allowing them access to safe and decent employment abroad. Through this initiative, workers can improve their quality of life and that of their families without exposing themselves to the risks of irregular migration.
Program beneficiaries have highlighted the opportunity to work in a country with high labor standards and better salaries, which allows them to generate stable income and contribute to the national economy through remittances.

The Government of El Salvador has reaffirmed its commitment to continue managing job opportunities for more citizens, strengthening alliances with countries such as Canada. In addition, training continues to be implemented so that workers are better prepared for these jobs.
With the departure of this new contingent, the Labor Migration Program continues to consolidate itself as a real and safe alternative for Salvadorans seeking to improve their future without resorting to dangerous and irregular journeys.
