As part of its sustainability strategy, AES promotes the adoption of innovative energy solutions and recognizes those institutions that join this effort to achieve a more efficient and competitive industrial and commercial sector, but above all environmentally more sustainable and committed to creating a better future for El Salvador.
This december 2, AES El Salvador held, for the third consecutive year, its event Soluciones – Innovación Sostenible, where it recognized the institutions and companies that during this year 2024 have joined its effort to continue promoting the country’s energy transition and to build a more environmentally friendly future.
In this edition there were 18 institutions recognized that together with AES El Salvador have developed projects in any of the following categories: Electromobility, Solar Plants, Solar Roofs for Self-consumption, Energy Efficiency Audits and Implementation of Integrated Electrical Systems.
“In AES El Salvador we believe that recognizing companies and institutions that have implemented this type of solutions is very relevant, as it allows giving visibility to these efforts that can serve as inspiration for other entities”, said Abraham Bichara, CEO of AES El Salvador.
Also during the event, attendees had the opportunity to participate in a presentation on Artificial Intelligence applied to business, by an international expert in the field, where they learned how this technology that is changing almost all areas of society can be used in their daily work to improve their production processes.
“Creating this type of space is complementary to the effort we make to make innovative energy solutions available to our clients, since by learning how these types of technological tools can be applied to their businesses, they can make their processes even more efficient, profitable and, above all, environmentally friendly”, said Bichara.
With this, there are now 59 institutions that have been recognized by AES and join as strategic partners to promote the adoption of efficient energy technologies that not only meet their operational and profitability needs, but also help them achieve their sustainability goals, thus accelerating the future of energy in El Salvador.
