For more than a decade, AES El Salvador has implemented energy efficiency training aimed at its industrial customers. Since its launch, this initiative has benefited 453 companies, mostly local, as well as some regional, and public institutions. Through this program, they have been provided with specialized technical training to integrate energy efficiency practices and photovoltaic energy for self-consumption into their operations.
As a result of this effort, 641 people have acquired the necessary knowledge to implement strategies that optimize energy use, enabling companies and institutions to reduce their environmental impact, improve their competitiveness and apply more sustainable technologies.
Throughout these 12 years, AES El Salvador has emphasized that the courses given have been key to improving the use of energy resources in the country. “We are proud to celebrate this decade of achievements together with the companies and professionals who have trusted in our commitment to energy efficiency. This collective effort not only benefits the companies in economic terms, but also contributes significantly to the environmental sustainability of our country”, said Miguel Campos, Vice President of Electricity Market and External Relations of AES El Salvador.
AES El Salvador continues to work hand in hand with the industry to promote a culture of energy efficiency and consolidate its role as a strategic ally on the road to a more sustainable future for El Salvador and the region.
