AES El Salvador, in collaboration with Blink Charging, inaugurated a new charging station for electric vehicles at Plaza Comercial Pasares, located at Carretera Quezaltepeque, kilometer 35 ½, San Juan Opico, La Libertad Centro. This electric station is the first in this district and is now part of the new network of ten commercial chargers installed in 2024, which are added to the ten installed in 2023, for a total of twenty public access chargers that are strategically located to promote sustainable transportation in the country.
AES, through its Solutions Division, highlighted that electric vehicle owners can reduce “range anxiety” by having more than 300 kilometers of charging points available, allowing them to travel seamlessly between the West, Center and East of the country.
All stations of the AES/Blink partnership operate under the self-service model. With the Blink Charging Mobile app, users can create a profile and add a payment method to charge their electric vehicle battery.
On average, electric cars have a range of movement of approximately 350 kilometers, enough to face routine journeys without any problem or to travel within the country, thanks to the network of electro-lighting stations that continues to grow.
Plaza Comercial Pasares, as part of Inversiones Bolívar, reaffirms its commitment to build social and environmental welfare from its different lines of business. That is why it has joined as a strategic partner for the installation of the first electric gas station in San Juan Opico, La Libertad.
“As a certified B Company, at Inversiones Bolivar we lead with purpose, integrating sustainability in each of our projects to contribute to the development of a key infrastructure that drives sustainable mobility and clean transportation. This effort reflects our vision for the future: to generate positive impact, prioritizing the collective well-being of the communities where we work”, said Héctor Delgado, Marketing Director of Inversiones Bolívar.
With this collaboration, the commercial partners reinforce their commitment to the transition to green transportation, contributing to the development of key infrastructure for the promotion of this technology.
AES El Salvador and its strategic allies will continue working together in the installation of new charging points to connect more than 325 kilometers of routes, guaranteeing drivers of this type of vehicles greater peace of mind on long trips in the interior of the country.
With these actions, AES El Salvador continues to develop its commitment to transportation with zero emissions of polluting gases, the reduction of noise pollution and the reduction of hazardous waste, to continue accelerating the future of energy.
