The Asociación Salvadoreña de Industriales (ASI) reported that the country’s industrial activity continues to show dynamism, supported by the most recent results of the Índice de Producción Industrial (IPI). According to the ASI, the IPI registered a year-on-year variation of 0.7% in october 2025, while the accumulated average up to that month stood at 1.0%, figures that reflect stability in the sector’s performance.
According to the institution, the IPI’s performance between 2022 and 2025 demonstrates the industry’s capacity to adapt to external factors and maintain a moderate growth rate. The ASI maintains that the sector continues working to increase production and mitigate the effects of international pressures, relying on the actions outlined in the 2025-2029 Industrial Development Plan.

The industry association indicates that these results suggest a more favorable end to the year, solidifying the sector’s role as an engine of the salvadoran economy.
