The investment in the Miami Lounge underscores Avianca’s strategy to deepen its connection to the U.S. market, particularly in Miami, which serves as a strategic point for travelers heading to Latin America.

The lounge is expected to welcome more than 16,500 passengers by 2025, taking into account the 249 weekly frequencies operated by Avianca on 36 routes to and from the United States.

About the Avianca and Tap Air Portugal lounge experience
Designed to offer an exceptional experience, the 6,559-square-foot lounge is set to become the go-to place for passengers seeking comfort and convenience while traveling through Miami International Airport. Located on Concourse J, near Gate J6, the lounge seats 337 passengers and seats 158. Combining a contemporary design with ample space, it features quiet zones, business areas and family-friendly spaces, ensuring a welcoming environment for all travelers.
The VIP lounge offers a wide range of food and beverage options, with breakfast, lunch, and dinner available throughout the day. The menu includes hot and cold dishes, pastries such as Portuguese pastries, sandwiches, soups, salads and various cheeses, fruits, and bread.
LifeMiles members can redeem miles for tickets with Avianca, which flies to more than 75 destinations in 26 countries through Star Alliance, the world’s largest airline network, and access more than 1,400 destinations worldwide.
The Miami lounge is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and is available to business class passengers flying with Avianca and TAP Air Portugal, as well as travelers from select Star Alliance partners.
