Travel tips for a smooth Easter Week
- Flight status: Avianca notifies in real time, via email and WhatsApp, of any changes to the itinerary. In addition, customers can keep up to date on the status of their flights on avianca.com and the official app.
- Digital channels and self-service: It is recommended to check in 48 hours before the flight or 24 hours before for flights to or from the United States, Puerto Rico and Canada, as well as manage reservations through digital channels.
- Anticipation: It is suggested to be at the airport at least 3 hours in advance for international flights and 2 hours for domestic flights.
- Requirements in order: It is advisable to verify with the competent entities and authorities that all required documentation is in order according to the destination, including passports, visas, and vaccination certificates if necessary.
- Baggage: Consider the baggage included in the fare of the ticket purchased, as well as its characteristics, to avoid additional charges and transport items such as cell phones, laptops, tablets, cameras, portable external chargers (power banks) and any object containing lithium batteries only in the aircraft cabin, and not in the hold, for safety reasons.
